Fall Activities & Tower Park News

The "Second Largest Annual MV Event in the West" is non-stop buying, selling, socializing, tire-kicking, story telling, socializing, lying, beer drinking, relaxing, and did we say socializing? Yes it's the last big opportunity to air out and transfer stuff from your shed to somebody else's shed, only to buy it back in the Spring! We usually have fewer formal activities on the Fall schedule compared to April but it doesn't have to be that way. It's up to you! To get something on the official activities flyer plus promoted on web forums and in the September newsletter (if you make deadline), please contact John at: in_garage@hotmail.com.

PARKING: "MV Parking Only" at the wide spot in front of the CG 4 restrooms. Commuters please bring your MV! This can also be a MV sales area if there is room or contact John Neuenburg at space 297 for another option.
Unless KOA gets a rash of dry camping reservations, general parking will be allowed in part of the dry camping field. NOT THE REAR FENCELINE. Look for signs. Otherwise park on levee above CG2.

Trailers are recommended for the field next to the old Tower Park guard shack, inland side.

Grass area in front of both pools is for authorized displays or museum tables, or a kid's play area.

Living historians may camp there with MVCC permission and payment of the standard $15.00/night dry camping fee to KOA. No vendors there or next to Pavilion - you must rent a campsite through KOA.

Display field / LZ is for MV photo opportunities, official or casual MV displays, flight operations if announced, or recreation. Not vending. Please do not leave your MV unattended in this field unless you have checked the Activities Schedule posted at each restroom for possible conflicts.
