for WWII Japanese American relocation camp experiences - My
name is Ed Masuda of Mountain View, CA. I am involved in a project to present the experiences of the Japanese Americans that were interned into the relocation camps during WWII. This event will take place February 1st, 2nd and 3rd 2008. The location will be at the Palo Alto Buddhist Temple located at 2751 Louis Rd in Palo Alto. We will have educational seminars with featured speakers and a display of camp life artifacts. I am in charge of the displays. My plans are to reconstruct a semblance of the camp atmosphere in our gymnasium. I am hoping perhaps one of your members might be interested in showing a jeep or transport type truck at our event to add some authenticity to our event. Please let me know if this is a possibility.
